  Call of Duty Screenshot

Call of Duty is a World War II FPS developed by Infinity Ward. It lets you experience all of WWII's epic battles, including D-Day, The Russian charge at Stalingrad, and the battle for Berlin, all in cinematic quality. Its has four interconnected campaigns (Including American, British, and Russian) totaling twenty-four single player missions.

This game also has a greatly done multiplayer mode. In it you can choose to be Russian, German, American, or British. Each side has a wide selection of detailed and accurate weapons. There are many multiplayer modes to choose from, deathmatch or team deathmatch being the most popular.

Bottom line: Get this game.

StarCraft Screenshot

StarCraft is an RTS made by Blizzard Entertainment. StarCraft has both a thrilling single player campaign and a multiplayer mode which lets you play online, via Battle.net, (Although, it isn't just limited to online multiplayer) with up to seven other players. Single player consists of  three connected campaigns, played by three unique species (Terran, Protoss, and Zerg), each with its own units, abilities, technologies, and attributes. The Terrans, the humans of the StarCraft world, rely on tactics, battlefield intelligence and mobility. The Protoss are an ancient race of  highly intelligent warrior crusaders. Their highly advanced technology and potent psionic abilities make them to be a worthy adversary. The nightmare like Zerg are a race of aliens. They are controlled by a single being, know as the Overmind. Although, not a technologically advanced race, they prove to be very powerful; relying on swarms of weak and quick-to-produce warriors.

Battle.net is completely free, so all you need to play online is StarCraft, a CD key, and an internet connection. All races can be played online in many different game types. The most  popular game types are melee and use map settings. Melee games allow you to fight up to seven computers or people on battle.net, or a combination of both. In melee games you can choose to ally with any other human player. For example, you might have six people in a game and three people ally with each other and fight the other three. Or, you might only ally with one other person and fight two other pairs of people. Use map settings games can be almost anything. I will not go into detail about theses types of games since there are so many possible and existing types. There are twelve multiplayer modes, they are: Top vs Bottom, Melee, Free For All, One on One, Use Map Settings, Capture The Flag, Greed, Slaughter, Sudden Death, Team Melee, Team Free For All, and Team Capture The Flag. These are all the game types for StarCraft, bur, you are not able to play all of them on battle.net--or so it would seem. Go to my Tips, Tricks, and Hacks page for details on how to use all the types online.

StarCraft comes with a campaign editor, in which you can easily create your own worlds and even entire campaigns, providing unlimited gameplay. StarCraft's unique Trigger system allows  you to create special scenario events, messages, victory conditions, and more. The editor has an intuitive paint-style interface for creating maps on a wide range of terrain sizes and types, from harsh volcanic wastes to lush jungle worlds. You can easily assign scenario objectives and special events. It even lets you edit unit statistics, abilities, upgrades and mission briefings.

Morrowind Screenshot

Morrowind is an RPG made by Bethesda Softworks. Morrowind is an epic, open-ended single-player game where you play any character you can imagine. Playing through the main quest alone provides hours of gameplay. Of course, you don't even have to play the main quest, it is all up to you. There are many more quests for a wide variety of unique factions and dozens of miscellaneous quests. You are completely free to move about the gameworld, free of invisible walls. The game world is incredibly detailed and can be further enhanced with user-made mods.

Morrowind comes with The Elder Scrolls Construction Set (TESCS). The TESCS is a tool that allows you to modify any part of the game. Whether it be texture on the ground, the weapon in your character's hand, or the sky around you. The TESCS has its own simple script language used to do almost anything. You will need more tools to edit the games textures, meshes, movies, and sounds. But, there are many free programs that can be downloaded for many of these.

My screen name on the Elder Scrolls Forum is Szazmyrr3.

Bottom line: Get this game.
